IAB Academy Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to IAB Academy, a product of IAB Advisors, Inc. ("IAB Academy," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website, enrolling in our courses, or using any of our AI-powered learning tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use IAB Academy. Users between the ages of 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements. IAB Academy reserves the right to terminate accounts found to be in violation of this requirement.

3. Use of Services

You agree to use our platform for lawful purposes only. You may not:

- Share your login credentials with others

- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI tools, platform code, or course content

- Use our content for resale, redistribution, or commercial purposes without written permission

- Use the platform to harass, defraud, or harm other users

- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems or infrastructure

- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code

4. Intellectual Property

All content on IAB Academy, including videos, course materials, graphics, AI scripts, Smart Instructor interactions, and branding, is owned by IAB Advisors, Inc. or its licensors. Your enrollment grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for your personal educational use only. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission from IAB Advisors, Inc.

5. Smart Instructor — AI Tool Disclaimer

Smart Instructor is an AI-powered educational tool designed to support your learning experience. It is not a licensed financial advisor, investment advisor, broker, or fiduciary. Responses generated by Smart Instructor are for educational purposes only and do not constitute personalized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making any investment decisions.

6. Not Financial Advice

IAB Academy provides financial education only. Nothing on our platform, including course content, Smart Instructor responses, videos, materials, or communications from our team, constitutes financial advice, investment recommendations, or an offer to buy or sell any security. All investment decisions are made solely at your own risk. IAB Academy and IAB Advisors, Inc. are not liable for any financial losses, trading losses, or damages arising from your use of our educational content.

7. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Payment and Pricing

Course access is provided upon successful payment through our secure payment processor, Stripe. All prices are listed in US dollars. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already completed.

9. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our content, all sales are final once course access has been granted. If you experience verified technical issues that prevent you from accessing purchased content, please contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of purchase and we will work to resolve the issue or provide a credit at our discretion. Founding student pricing is non-refundable once the founding student offer period closes.

10. Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with third-party services including GoHighLevel, Stripe, and Anthropic. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. IAB Academy is not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party service providers.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IAB Academy and IAB Advisors, Inc., including its officers, directors, employees, and agents, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of our platform or content. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IAB Academy and IAB Advisors, Inc. from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Harris County, Texas.

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of IAB Academy after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version will always be available at iabacademy.ai/Terms_Conditions.
